- Hair - Wavy, dark, sholder length hair that has to be brushed after it is wet or it resorts to one big mass of frizziness. Kaja used to fret over it constantly as a young girl, but as she has matured, she has simply resorted to tying it up instead. It is kept plaited during threadfall, or while working in the Weyr. At Gathers and important meetings, however, she styles it in a partial up-do, and combing most of the firzziness out.
- Eyes - She has dark brown eyes that match her hair. They are dark and perceptive and she has a knack for telling lies from the truth and many candidates and weyrlings have found that out the hard way.
- Build - At 5'6" Kaja is not overly tall, and while many use it to their advantage and look down their noses at her, she simply ignores them and continues what she must do. She has some curves, although most have been lost in the nine years of muscle that is sitting on her bones. Her hands are calloused as well, from the work around the Weyr and she has numerous scars littering her body.
- Scars - While many smaller scars are scattered across her body, her most noticable ones are: one across the top of left hand from a slip during Impression, and two down her back from her right sholder to her hip from a fight a few turns ago.
- Attire - While performing her duties around the Weyr, Kaja often wears either a simple dress and apron or a white blouse and black breeches. Her dagger always sits at her hip, because her position as Weyrwoman is precarious and she doesn't want to lose her life because she is unprotected. During gathers, she wears her favorite blue gown, equipped with a belt that also holds her dagger.
- The Dagger - It was given to her during Weyrling training by a Master Smith, a close friend of hers until his death. It is a steel blade, strong but flexible. The hilt it encrusted with a single diamond that is surrounded by gold dragons. Kaja has onlyhad to use it once, and it was before she became Weyrwoman, and it was when a drudge threatened her life. She cut the tendon on his right leg, to ensure he couldn't follow her, and then left him to be found by the Weyr Authorities.
Personality:
While she is not a cold or cruel person, Kaja is a realist. She understands that her control over the Weyr is a precarious ledge to be on, and therefore took defence and combat lessons as a candidate and Weyrling. Aziath is also trained in the Battle Arts, and in formal places they both have a guard to protect them. Her demeanor is kind, although strict, and she does not allow misbehavior in her Weyr. She frequents the Weyrling lessons, to ensure they are being taught well, and to help train the new Queens. Her approach to life is simple: Ensure the survival of the Weyr, at any cost. Raids from the other Weyr's Wings are becoming more frequent, as they try to dominate it for their own colors.
Kaja has never truely loved anyone, and every male that has flown Aziath is just a mate, nothing more. She neither desires nor contemplates love, as it is lost in her everyday actions and thoughts. However, K'tal is not a cruel man, and maybe he can teach her well. Many think her uptight and aloof because of her strict and formal behavior to other riders, but her friends and close companions know she does have a soft and mushy inside, underneath her hard exterior.
Aziath
Appearance: An extremely large dragon at 100 feet, Azia is a force to be reackoned with. Her hide is a dark amber color, wih a simple streak of lighter gold along her underbelly.
Personality: Like her rider, she is not cruel, but simply strict. She does however show more emotion than her rider, and likes to speak with flits, despite their minimal intelligence. Her command over other dragons is great, and some other queens have even found it impossible to avoid listening to her.
Voice: her voice is like a great river. When she is happy, it is like a bubbing brook and can make the listener feel very happy. While sedate, her voice is like an ancient river, tranquil and calming. When angered, however, her voice becomes a great crashing waterfall that leaves the listener with a loud ringing even after her voice has stopped.

Personality: A free-will, Arrow is rarely with Kaja, unless she is near food or at a gather. He often relays information for her, and even spys if she feels soemthing is going on that shouldn't be.
