It is one thing to say Kindle is crazy, and one thing to think Kindle is crazy. In all actuality, you’re right both ways. River wasn’t, as you say, dropped when she was a baby, but rather she was born this way. She was born with a disease of some sort that allowed her to have rather weird 'powers'. Maybe ‘allow’ isn’t the best word to use here, how about acquired. Well, no matter how Kindle got the way she is now, she will still be this way.
The girl is mental, really. She always dances everywhere, and never wears boots. In fact, she doesn’t like any type of footwear at all. Along with that, she looks, and acts most of the time, like she has the mind of a child. She speaks using quotes, or small sentences, whatever she chooses at the time. She is, however, extremely intellectual, though she doesn’t readily like to display it through use of words but rather through physical use.
Kindle can’t possibly be good at everything, yet somehow she makes it seem like she is. She can do many things, though her small, lithe body doesn’t show she can. She loves to dance and entertain the younger children of the Weyr, or wherever she is currently at. She loves to try new things, and sometimes those new things aren’t very good for her. She loves to walk off on her own, or get stuck in her own dreamlands like a small child would.
Kindle has nightmares almost all the time. Sometimes she had nightmares during the daytime when she is awake, too. No one knows why, but those nightmares usually wake her up screaming, or, if she is already awake, they make her stop what she is doing, fall to the ground, and clutch her head. She doesn’t like those nightmares, and some of them could be what Terrans call ‘De ja vu.’

-the eyes: Kindle’s eyes, while a medium-colored brown, look rather intellectual.
-the hair: Kindle’s hair is very long and wavy. It is a dark chocolate brown, and always looks stringy, no matter what.
-the face: Kindle has a childish face. Somehow, though, she manages to look intellectual and wise, though she still looks as if she has the mental capacity of a child.
-the clothes: The first thing you may notice about Kindle is that she never wears shoes, not even stockings or anything on her feet. The second thing you may notice is that she always wears some sort of dress. Her favorite color is purple, so you may see her in purple-colored dresses.
-the height and weight: Kindle stands at 5 feet 6 inches and a half. She weighs … well, she won’t tell.
-the scars: Kindle doesn’t get hurt, ever. No one knows why.
